Antrhos are rarely my first choice for drawing subjects, but recently I've been inspired to draw them just the same. This was a lot of fun to draw, and my first shot at dreads! Near the end of the process I wasn't sure if I should make the tribal mark on his shoulder colored or not. I decided "why not?" and went for it, as well as his golden eye.
Enjoy!
Done in pen, drawing process time approximately 18 hours.
I'm not a big fan of anthros either, but your anthros are very much on the animal side, which I like (most seem to be basically human). The odd use of colour here is nice, I think.
Well that's good. I'm so sick of this anthros which are like humans with fur and an animal head slapped on top. It really is a big dislike of mine… I'm kind of like "could you guys PLEASE use some imagination here?"
If people want to draw those kind of anthros, I have no problem with it - but I do wonder why those peopel don't just draw humans, if all the anthros have is a little bit of fur Ahh well, each to their own.
